Westcliff Royal Navy Cadets March with Pride at National Trafalgar Day Parade

The Royal Navy cadets from Westcliff High School for Boys’ CCF proudly participated in last weekend's National Trafalgar Day Parade in London for their third year in a row, to commemorate the life and legacy of Admiral Lord Nelson and the historic Battle of Trafalgar. The event brought together cadets and serving personnel from across the country to honour the Royal Navy’s proud heritage and traditions.

Over the course of their 2 day training, our cadets demonstrated their discipline, teamwork, and commitment to the values of the Royal Navy, representing their School, the CCF as a whole, and their contingent with pride. Taking part in such a prestigious national event provides the cadets with a valuable opportunity to develop confidence, build camaraderie, and experience the importance of ceremonial duties. The occasion also allowed our cadets to reflect on the courage, leadership, and sacrifice of those who have served in the Royal Navy throughout history. It was a memorable experience and a proud moment for all those involved.

Well done to our Royal Navy cadets, and our thanks to Lieutenant Hadley and SSI Hague for supporting the cadets with their training and accompanying them for the Parade.
