Beginning of the festive season for our School Community

Now a well-established tradition each year at WHSB, the presentation of the glorious Norwegian Fir Christmas tree by the Old Westcliffian Association marks the beginning of the festive season for our School Community. On Friday 5 December, we welcomed Mr Terry Birdseye, OWA President, back to the School for the formal presentation. The donation of a tree by members of the School’s alumni community heralds the start of our seasonal events within School.

We are grateful to members of our Alumni Community for all they contribute to the life of the School throughout the year. Their active participation in the multitude of careers events that take place, giving talks as part of our Sixth Form Lecture Series, and providing advice and guidance to students going through the university application process significantly enhances the educational and extra-curricular opportunities available to our current pupils. This engagement creates a vibrant and supportive community of which we are immensely proud.
