Old Westcliffian Matthew Parkhill Returns to Inspire WHSB Sixth Form with Film and TV Career Insights

Last term, WHSB welcomed back Old Westcliffian Matthew Parkhill (1979–86). A Cambridge History graduate with an MPhil in International Relations, Matthew is a renowned writer, director, and showrunner whose career spans acclaimed indie films like "Dot the i" and "The Caller", and hit TV series such as "Rogue" and "Deep State". Most recently, he has worked on high-budget projects including "Nautilus", and Amazon Prime’s "Young Sherlock".
We are very grateful to Matthew for taking time out from his busy schedule to present to WHSB Sixth Form students about his career pathways and for sharing his professional insight into the creative process of writing, directing, and producing for the global screen.
