This month, WHSB was delighted to host a vibrant Apprenticeship Fair as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026. The majority of our Lower Sixth students attended and were able to hear directly from alumni who returned to share their apprenticeship experiences across a range of industries.

It was a pleasure to welcome back our former students, whose insights into training, workplace learning, and career pathways were invaluable for our current cohort. Their enthusiasm and honesty helped broaden students’ understanding of the opportunities available beyond traditional university routes. With excellent attendance and lively conversations throughout, the event proved both informative and inspiring.

We thank all alumni who contributed to such a successful afternoon, and are grateful to Mr Atkinson and Miss Fairfax for organising this important opportunity for our Lower Sixth students.
